How do Houseflies Spread Diseases?
The housefly (musca domestica) is on of the most common of all insects major health hazzard, partculary in parts of the world where sanitary conditions are poor.
It has apecullar system feeding itself. At first it release saliva and digestive juice over food and then sponges up the resulting solution. One can well imagine what we are eating after a fly taken ‘sip’ of our food.
Because of the way they eat, file contaminate large amounts of food. They carry germs of several deadly diseases and cause millions of death every year.
Another way that the housely contaminates food is by rubbing its leg toggether. Do you know why it does so?
